Taking as its starting point the notion of infinite, cyclical, and continuous time, the performance brings movement, painting, and music into resonance. In close collaboration with the visual and performative work of Diane Chéry, and based on compositions by Gabriella Smith, performed live by cellist Eric-Maria Couturier, the folds and nuances of the canvas respond to the body, to friction, and to musical resonances. It is an intimate and slow dialogue between gesture, music, and painting—a poetic attempt to observe time as it unfolds.
